ASD — Guidance from the Autism Working Group

Part One -  gives practical advice to providers for children with autistic spectrum disorders, based on existing good practice, and helps them to reflect on their own practice.

Part Two -  provides pointers to good practice.

Part 2 On-line version including examples of good practice. — a live version which links the pointers to examples of good practice where we have them — we would welcome suggestions for new examples. Inevitably there was much discussion as to what was good practice and at times some individuals did not agree with the majority view. If you have any examples you think may be suitable for inclusion please forward to Nigel Fulton.

Autism Working Group guidance — let us have your views

This guidance was developed by the Autism Working Group based on current practice and thinking and is mainly aimed at professionals, but we welcome views from parents and carers. To help us gauge how useful it is in practice, tell us what you think by completing the feedback form below and submitting it to us online. All of the questions are optional — you need only complete those that are of particular interest to you. There is a box for general comments at the end of the form. Positive comments will be as welcome as constructive criticism!
