The Regional Partnerships: newsletters

The Regional Partnerships produce a regular newsletter, RP news. As well as news and reports, each newsletter includes a case study highlighting an aspect of the work of the Regional Partnerships. All downloadable files are pdfs.

Newsletters

Autumn 2006
Issue 8. Features include an article an article by Jo Williams, chief executive of MENCAP and member of the National Steering Group, an update from the National Adviser, as well as articles on national contracts, the 2006 out-of-authority statistics collection and work on transition.

Summer 2006
Issue 7. Features articles on regional commissioning, new products, Removing Barriers to Achievement, inclusion in the east and making best use of data.

Spring 2006
Issue 6. Includes features on Parent Partnership Services, the Local Government Association, training news and a practical guide to outreach from special schools.

Autumn 2005
Issue 5. Includes an introduction by Lord Adonis, comments from the National Adviser, details of work on out-of-authority placements and children in residential placements and a focus on inclusion.

Summer 2005
Issue 4. Features include an introduction from Annette English, regional facilitator West Midlands, comment from the National Adviser and an outline of the key recommendations from the NfER evaluation.

Winter 2004
Issue 3. Features include an update from the National Advisor, the NfER evaluation report and Making change happen — the work of the SENRPs.

Autumn 2004
Issue 2. Features include an introduction by Eileen Visser, Ofsted, an update from the National Adviser, a regional roundup and an article on working regionally and nationally.

Summer 2004
Issue 1. Features include an introduction by Baroness Cathy Ashton, information on the role of the Regional Partnerships, and news from across the regions.
