Excellence for all children

22 October 1997

Summary

These pages, a summary of a consultative Green Paper, show how we aim to improve the achievements of children with special educational needs (SEN) in England over the next five years. We have sent the full paper to every school. Copies are also available in bookshops.

The consultation period ended on 9 January 1998. We shall be considering carefully all the comments made as we develop an action programme for the remainder of the Parliament.
