School Travel Adviser Toolkit
The Travelling to School initiative (a joint initiative with the DfT)
aims to develop a strategic approach to school travel issues promoting the use
of walking, cycling and public transport and reducing car dependency for
journeys to school.
To achieve this a strengthened team of around 250 school travel advisers (STAs) will be funded, who will be responsible for working with schools, and local education and transport authorities to produce strong and effective travel plans.
The toolkit
This toolkit provides a range of documents, links and other
information designed to help school travel advisers in implementing the
Travelling to School initiative. The information is split up into the
sections you can see below.
You are able to download any of the documents, but please make sure you have written permission if you want to use any logos on certificates or letters.
Over the coming months this toolkit will be expanded to include much more information, so add it to your favourites now!
