Children can easily become involved with drugs. Use the links below to help prevent this and get parents involved in the development of a school drug policy.

The Terence Higgins Trust was one of the first charities to be set up in response to the HIV epidemic and has been at the forefront of the fight against HIV & AIDS ever since.

The Drug Education Forum (DEF) is a forum of national organisations in England which provide drug education to children and young people. 

The Drinkanddrugs.net website, run up by the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP), is a source of information for those who deal with drug and alcohol misuse in the course of their work. The FDAP's fortnightly, free magazine Drink and Drugs News is also available to download.

DrugScope  is a centre of expertise on illegal drugs, aiming to inform policy development and reduce drug-related risk. The website includes detailed drugs information and access to the Information and Library Service.

RELEASE provides advice and referral on drug-related legal problems.

Re-Solv (Society for the Prevention of Solvent and Volatile Substance Abuse) is a national charity providing information for teachers, other professionals, parents and young people. 

The National Drugs Strategy website contains information for DATs and interested individuals to find out about the Government's national drug strategy.

The National Drug Prevention Alliance is a group of organisations and individuals who want to see more and better prevention operating in the UK, as part of the solution to the drugs problem.
