Regional and national Science Learning Centres network
The Science Learning Centres network operates through nine regional centres and one national centre. Teachers are able to access courses across the network in a variety of ways:
- by attending their regional centre
- by attending a local satellite centre linked to the regional centre or the national centre
- by participating in courses online.
The regional Science Learning Centres are open at venues across England:
- National Science Learning Centre
- South East
- South West
- London
- East of England
- East Midlands
- West Midlands
- Yorkshire and the Humber
- North West
- North East
The National Science Learning Centre is situated in purpose-built residential facilities at York University and provides courses that are open to teachers, technicians and lecturers from across the UK.
