Creative Chemistry
Site contains full-colour worksheets and teaching notes for activities
suitable for a chemistry club, and around 200 pages of question sheets and
practical guides for GCSE chemistry (ages 14 to16) and AS Level chemistry (ages
16 to 18).
Curriculum Online
This DCSF website is an online catalogue of thousands of multimedia
resources, linked to the National Curriculum in England. Resources go
up to Key Stage 4, and cover SEN. Many are free, the rest can be
bought with a school's eLC (electronic learning credit) money. See

Digital Art Resource for Education (DARE)
DARE is produced by the Institute of International Visual Arts (inIVA) in
partnership with Middlesex University's School of Lifelong Learning and
Education (LLE) and the Lansdown Centre for Electronic Arts (CEA) and is aimed
at a broad education audience, but primarily teachers, student teachers and
pupils of art and design, working at secondary-school or high-school level.

Film Education
Film Education is a registered charity funded by the film industry in the
UK. Its aim is to encourage and promote the study of film and cinema
within the curriculum. In addition to providing a range of free educational
materials, Film Education organises INSET courses, workshops, seminars
and events, including the National Schools Film Week.
Granada Learning
Granada Learning produces a range of educational resources
spanning the syllabuses of primary and secondary schools to meet the
requirements of learners of all ages and abilities, ranging from infants

MathsNet
Mathematics education, with particular emphasis on providing online
interactive resources. Major resources include AS/A2 maths and interactive
geometry.
National Archives Learning Curve
The National Archives Learning Curve is an online teaching resource,
structured to tie in with the History national curriculum for Key Stages 2 to
5. Designed for teachers, the Learning Curve contains a varied range of
original sources including documents, photographs, film and sound
recordings.
Nuffield Support for post-16 mathematics
The site will keep you up to date with news about Free-standing maths units.
The site complements the information that is available from the websites
maintained by the awarding bodies AQA, Edexcel and OCR. The main purpose of
this site is to share and publish teaching approaches, student assignments and
other resources for teachers.
The Poetry Archive
The Poetry Archive is a free online resource which makes available recordings
of English-language poets reading their own work. The website is packed
with information about poets and poetry, with advice on teaching poetry
effectively, lesson ideas based on the Archive's recordings and an
area where teachers can create and save their own lesson plans.
RSPCA education
The RSPCA has produced a large number of curriculum-linked resources. Topics
range from Animals and the Law to Biodiversity. They are aimed at different age
groups and cover curriculum material for Key Stage 1 to 4. Many of the
resources are also available in Welsh.

SciShop: Key Stage 3
Science Resource Database
SciShop is an online resource area designed to support teachers and
students in Key Stage 3 science. The resources are drawn from a number of
locations: the Internet, ASE Books and Images, and contributions from members
of the ASE. SciShop is intended to help teachers and students to locate
suitable resources that are related to specific learning objectives of the Key
Stage 3 National Curriculum.
