Teaching and learning at primary-school level
This area of TeacherNet links you to a wide range of resources and
information for primary-school staff.
It allows you to access sections on teaching and learning, testing and resources at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as well as up-to-date information on Government strategy at primary level and online teaching resources. There is also information about target-setting at Key Stages 2 to 4.
TeacherNet's Teaching and learning area contains much else of interest to primary-school teachers and heads, especially ready-to-use assemblies and reviews of free online primary-school resources and lesson plans.
Don't forget that the Whole-school issues section has information on topics beyond teaching and learning but which still involve teaching staff — behaviour and bullying, health and safety, special educational needs, etc.
TeacherNet's Library of articles has features ranging from primary-school resources from the Lord of the Rings film to easing the transition from primary school to secondary school. There are also articles on professional matters written for all education professionals, whatever age group they are involved with.
