£30 million Sports Colleges Facilities: Year 1 — The first £10 million of approved sports facilities projects at Sports Colleges in 2008/09 was announced on 11th September 2008. See list of approved Sports Colleges here. (September 2008)

An additional £30 million over the next three years is to be allocated to upgrade facilities at targeted Sports Colleges. Further details can be found here. (February 2008)

The David Beckham Academy has launched a website called Schools Zone which offers a unique set of teaching resources on football, health and fitness (April 2007).
