Are your pupils safe in the sun? With warmer weather upon us, the DfES has joined forces with the British Skin Foundation to launch a sun awareness campaign aimed at primary schools.

The key message is 'Wrap, Splat, Hat', a simple routine that teachers can teach pupils as a way of remembering to cover up with sun cream and suitable clothing.

The campaign is supported by free resource packs, containing curriculum-based activities and materials for lessons and assemblies, written by PSHE specialists.
