National PSHE continuing professional development (CPD) programme

The provision of high-quality personal, social and health education (PSHE) is central to achieving the aims of the National Curriculum, the five Every Child Matters (ECM) outcomes for children and young people, and for achieving National Healthy Schools Status. This importance is reinforced by the new duty on school governors to promote well-being. PSHE provision in schools has improved but in light of these developments more needs to be done.

Help is available through the National PSHE CPD programme, a free accredited year-long professional development programme funded by DCSF.

  • You can read or download the poster and the leaflet on the National PSHE CPD programme.
  • To reserve a place on the programme you can get in touch by email.
