IAG strategy launched

The Government has set out new plans for improving information, advice and guidance (IAG) for young people.
The IAG Strategy:
- sets out the Government's expectations of delivery partners
- outlines the support provided to help schools, colleges, LAs and others to improve their provision
- explains the arrangements for holding the different parts of the delivery system to account.
It is the first substantive policy document on IAG since 2004. The plans include statutory guidance to schools on impartial careers education.
