News:Plug in to the DCSF

Saturday 25 April 2009

The DCSF Network Group is looking to expand its membership.

The kind of people being sought will:

  • understand what works well and why at ground level in schools
  • possess good analytical skills, have an ability to think clearly about education and be able to express themselves in a constructive manner
  • be passionate about helping children achieve their potential.

The DCSF would like members of the network to provide feedback in a variety of ways, depending on the nature and urgency of the topic.

Members will have the chance to take part in the network in their own right and will not 'represent' any school or organisation. They will be free to voice their honest opinions, whatever their length of service or involvement in the school sector.

The network will not be a political or 'lobbying' tool either for government or participants.

No payments will be made to members other than reimbursement of direct expenses to attend meetings etc.

If you would like to join, you are asked to complete this form and submit it by Friday 8 May 2009.

Further information can be obtained via email.
