Capital allocations
The Government is delivering on its commitment to create school buildings that are fit for 21st-century teaching and learning and are at the heart of their communities. £21.7 billion will be invested in schools capital and ICT between 2008 and 2011.
Every school, local authority and diocese in the country will receive resources through a range of programmes, which are detailed in the reports available below. In addition, significant resources will also be available through the Targeted Capital Fund and Building Schools for the Future (BSF) — allocations for individual local authority areas will be agreed in due course.
