(England) Regulations 2006 (includes a correction slip, please download
both documents)— The new Statutory Instrument which came into force on 1

Guidance
Teachers' and Head teachers' Performance Management — This guidance accompanies the 2006 Regulations, which came into force on 1 September 2007. It was produced by the Rewards and Incentives Group. (Hard copies are available by calling DCSF Publications on the number above and requesting reference number PM1006. This order comes bundled with a copy of the 2006 Regulations.)
Model Policy
This model performance management policy for schools is intended to support the implementation of the revised arrangements which came into force on 1 September 2007. Useful annexes to the model policy might include the regulations and the RIG guidance.
Model Pay Policy
The model pay policy will provide the basis for any appeals against performance management decisions.
