The pay calculator updates, reflecting the changes to teachers' pay effective from 1 September 2007, are now available.
The latest version of the teachers' pay calculator is now on-line and includes the 1 September 2007 pay rates. Your attention is drawn to the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document 2007 at www.teachernet.gov.uk/pay.
This tool is quick and easy to use, and replaces earlier software only available on disk or by downloading from the DCSF website. Unlike the disk/downloadable versions, this online calculator is designed for ongoing use and will be amended to take account of changes that occur in the future. It can be used for teachers with general safeguarding (protected salaries) and unqualified teachers, and it can produce pay statements for teachers being re-graded part-way through the year.

To use the calculator you'll need Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or above, which can be downloaded from the Internet Explorer homepage.
