Review of the School Staffing Structure: Guidance for Schools in England
The Education (Review of Staffing Structure) (England) Regulations 2005 (SI 2005 No. 1032) came into force on 6th May. These Regulations require the staffing structures of all maintained schools and pupil referral units in England to be reviewed by the end of this year and that any resulting changes to schools' staffing arrangements be implemented in full by the end of 2008.
The guidance that follows is intended to make it easier for schools to embrace these changes and emerge from them better able to deliver good teaching and learning.
