Business and technical specification version 1.7
This has one minor amendment, the addition of a website available for Unitary Awarding Body (UAB) base data files.
Business and technical specification version 1.6
This contains amendments made following Summer Census 2008. These are being introduced into COLLECT for the autumn 2008 census. However, it is accepted that these amendments will almost certainly not be made in schools' management information (MI) suppliers systems.
Business and technical specification version 1.5.
Version 1.5 shows all the changes that COLLECT has adopted for all three censuses in 2008, including those that are medium and low priority. Suppliers should aim to implement this version by October 2008. Where it is not possible to achieve this, particular attention should be paid to validation rules 100, 1720Q and 2610 which are high priority for the autumn 2008 census. This document has been changed to show 2 October as the autumn census date — this information has already been widely communicated, and this version has been updated for completeness.
Business and technical specification version 1.3
Version 1.3 is the baseline — due to the late changes to the specification made by the Department, it has been agreed with suppliers that this specification will be supported for the spring (January) 2008 census.
Business and technical specification version 1.4
Version 1.4 shows the high-priority changes to be applied to the summer (May) and autumn (October) 2008 censuses. If it is not possible to apply the changes to the summer collection, the Department will accept files created by version 1.3; however the changes must be applied to the autumn collection.
