Growing Schools Garden resource wins prestigious award!
The Department for Children, Schools and Families and Twofour Communications won the award for best Interactive Media for the Growing Schools Garden resource www.thegrowingschoolsgarden.org.uk at the recent IVCA Clarion Awards ceremony.

Pupils rewarded for potato growing success
The national winners of Potato Council's Grow Your Own Potatoes Project have been receiving their rewards this week from both the Potato Council and The Sun newspaper.

Growing Schools has successfully developed two show case growing school gardens. The aim of these gardens is to show how learning can take place outside the classroom, within the school grounds.

The gardens offer visitors inspiration for their own school grounds, but also be a realistic vision of what it possible on a limited budget.
