Calling emergency servicesCalling the Emergency Services: dial 999 On dialling you will be asked which service you need (e.g. police, ambulance or fire service) and put through to the appropriate control officer. Ask for the ambulance service if there are casualties. If more than one service is needed the control officer can pass on messages to other services. The control officer will need the following information:
