Local-authority consultation on the proposed funding formula to support new statutory duty
Due to high levels of correspondence from local authorities seeking detailed information regarding the funding arrangements, this consultation has been temporarily withdrawn. New spreadsheets will be prepared, detailing specific amounts per authority and the consultation will be relaunched in the next four to six weeks. Other consultations
The DfES has recently concluded a separate consultation on Home to
School Travel Guidance and Pathfinder Guidance to support implementation of new
school-transport provisions in the Education and Inspections Act
2006. Final versions of both sets of guidance will be available on
this webpage shortly.
