Here are the pay scales for September 2008 which came into force with effect from 1 September 2008.

School Teachers' Review Body's 17th Report part 1 Consultation Outcome

This letter was sent to statutory consultees on 19 May 2008 to inform them of the outcomes of the STRB's 17th Report Part 1 consultation. This is the Parliamentary Statement which was laid before Parliament on 19 May 2008.

School Teachers' Review Body's 17th Report part 2

This report and the Government's reponse were published on 9 April 2008. The Secretary of State wrote to Barry Sheerman MP to notify him of the publication.

The Department's Response to the STRB's Request for Additional Information and Evidence — January 2008

The first part of the response to the additional questions from the STRB was sent on 4 January 2008. This letter covers school funding and teachers' responsibilities issues and so on. The second part of the response to the additional questions, dated 8 January 2008, covers the leadership issues raised by the STRB. You can also read the original STRB letter, dated 10 December 07, asking for further information and evidence from the Department.
