The DCSF aims to achieve excellence in education at the ages of 14 to 19, so that all young people have opportunities to learn in ways which motivate and engage them and, through their own efforts, position themselves for success in life.

The aim is to help the education service, including local authority staff gain a better understanding of the reforms.
